

Tom was born on December 31, 1944 in Gallipolis, OH. He was raised in Montgomery, AL. before he enlisted in the navy at age 17. He served honorably for five (5) years in the US Navy. He served for 30 years as a police officer in Manchester Twp., New Jersey.
He retired to Ft. Myers, FL in 2004, with his wife Kathy, where he enjoyed golf, time with friends and his favorite spot – his recliner. He was a member of the Kelly Greens Golf and Country Club Board of Directors for 6 years, 2 years as president. He was a member of the Sanibel Community Church, serving on council for three (3) years and ushering at SCC for 12 years. He was chairman of the emergency room volunteers at HealthPark Medical Center and Golisano Children’s Hospital for 14 years. He volunteered for Trailways Camp and was a member of the Trailways Camps, Inc. Board of Directors for 10 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathy of 28 years; his two (2) daughters: Cheryl Mozine (Tom) and Elaine Kearney (Mike) both of Bayville, N.J.; 2 step-daughters: Patti Sexton (John) of Huntington Beach, CA and Cheryl Hoskins (Paul) of Fort Worth, Texas; 10 grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, Taryn, Christopher, Emma, Hannah, Noelle, Timothy, Elizabeth and Jack; and two (2) great-grandsons: Nicholas and Cameron.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at National Cremation Society, 3453 Hancock Bridge Parkway, North Fort Myers, FL. 33903. Interment will be held at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, NJ.
